“I want to be more accepting of the child in me. Therefore, I will, with wonder & awe, allow children to illuminate my world.”

Being a child in this world is not easy. Being a parent of a child who’s struggling isn’t easy either. But keep heart — there is hope for healing & growth.

And I’m here to walk with you through that process.

-Garry Landreth

I’m Andrew Parks.

A Counselor, Play Therapist, & Parent-In-Training.

A playroom full of toys for children to explore their world and process emotional, psychological, and spiritual content in the course of Play Therapy.

I believe that everyone’s deepest desire is to be fully known, fully loved, & accepted for who they are.

We are relational beings, and it is through relationship that we heal.

That very idea of being truly seen and known can also be one of our biggest fears—a frustrating paradox!

Whether you’re simply feeling a little stuck right now or you need to process through your deepest and darkest—my goal is that you would feel a safety and a freedom in my office.

Maybe you’re not even here for yourself but on your child’s behalf…and you’re not quite sure what that means about you as a parent.

Whatever has brought you here, I’m thankful for your courage. I would be honored to join you in facing it.

So let’s inhale, exhale, & walk together toward the places where the light shines through.
